Farm-Fresh-Local

We pride ourselves on making local farm fresh food available to our community.

Brooklet Farmers Market’s Farm2home allows our community to order fresh, homegrown, homemade farm goods directly from our local farmers, bakers and artisans from the privacy of their own homes. We provide a local pickup area and a convenient time for community members to pick those orders up on this prearranged schedule.

OUR MISSION

The common mission of the Brooklet Farmers Market is to provide:
• Local food growers and producers the ability to prosper by finding local marketplaces for their products.
• Every resident accessibility to high quality, nutritious, locally grown food.
• Residents educational understanding for the value of strengthening the local economy by purchasing locally grown food.
• Sustainable farming and local food production expansion as more people choose to enter these professions.
• Farmers market growth, which will nourish and inspire the community.
“The Brooklet Farmers Market is playing a central role in creating this food system and in fostering an economically, ecologically and socially sustainable community.”

Membership Fees

There are no membership fees for customers but we do add a 7% charge per order to help with some costs we incur.

Ordering Options

Unlike other co-ops, buying clubs, or CSAs where everyone gets the same box of stuff (and you don’t know what you’re getting until you get it), with Farm2home and Locally Grown you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. The weekly email lists the produce, milled products, fresh flowers, and artisan goods available that week, and you can browse the items on this website before you place your order.

Placing Orders

Each Saturday evening, an email is sent to everyone with an account here letting them know the website is open for the week. Customers place their orders for the week any time after that email goes out, but no later than Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Orders are placed here on our website.
Growers receive their orders that same night and harvest on Wednesday.

Picking up Orders

From 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, customers can pick-up their products at 209 Railroad Street, Brooklet, GA 30415 in the Randy Newman center parking lot.
Gift Certificates are available! If you would like to purchase a gift of health and flavor, please consider a Locally Grown gift certificate. You can decide the amount and the lucky recipient can purchase locally grown produce without having to pay out of pocket!
Sponsor the Market! If you would like to sponsor the Brooklet Farmers Market or gift an individual or family a Fresh Food Package, please contact us.
